The building they previously occupied was pretty small, so the team was restricted to drive-thru pickups,” Ross said. “Recently, they were donated a larger building, but the ceiling and some of the walls were dark and uninviting. There are families who would not have food on the table without their help,” she said. “But now, with the opportunity to expand, they have increased storage space to accept additional donations, and there is space for people who want to come inside for pickups.”Having the larger, more welcoming space also opens up opportunities for Sharing the Harvest to further expand its services.
