I started in corporate finance and then launched my bookkeeping business in 2015. Two years ago, I expanded into business coaching, becoming a Business Made Simple Certified Coach and a StoryBrand Certified Guide. This allows me to help small business owners develop financial, operational and marketing strategies to optimize their business growth. About a year ago, I decided to grow my bookkeeping business further. In my bookkeeping work, I've seen the good, the bad and the ugly with other franchises and franchisees. It really depends on the franchise. However, franchising offers a proven business model, removing much of the guesswork in starting a business from scratch.
