Heating + Air Paramedics, the emerging HVAC service concept backed by multi-brand home services franchisor, Threshold Brands, has identified Cincinnati, Ohio as its next market for franchise expansion. With capacity for three units in the area, President of Startup Brands Ryan Carpenter says he is excited to begin providing top-notch service to the local community.

“Franchise owners who open in Cincinnati will have an attractive proximity to our founding store in Indianapolis, Indiana,” Carpenter said. “It’s about two hours away, so franchisees will be able to come to the corporate headquarters very easily should they need some additional training or in-person support.”

The greater Cincinnati area has seen a 4.17% increase in population between 2010 and 2020 census data collection, indicating that the area is on a steady climb. As more families, young professionals and established adults begin living in the area, the demand for HVAC services is only increasing. Business owners in neighborhoods outside of the city of Cincinnati, like Dayton and Chesterson, are also encouraged to explore ownership with Heating + Air Paramedics.

Though the brand welcomes new franchise owners, Carpenter is especially passionate about current business owners looking to convert to the Heating + Air Paramedics model. During the conversion process, a business’s name will change, but the heart of the business — its people — stays the same. This allows small business owners to maintain control of everyday operations while gaining access to the systems and network of support that Heating + Air Paramedics offers.

“When we convert an existing business, we bring the owners to the next level. We have the financial expertise to run the business in a profitable way, and we bring the buying power of a national company for equipment and materials,” he added. “Marketing support is another really big benefit. From marketing to operations and understanding the finances of the business, we allow owners to continue to be 100% owners of their business while helping them to scale and run their business in a stronger way. They’re able to be in business for themselves but not by themselves.”

The demand that exists within the market is palpable, as heating and air-related systems and issues exist everywhere. As a founder-led brand, Heating + Air Paramedics continues to balance its efforts to meet this demand in a way that puts the customer experience and customers’ best interests first.

“It brings a really large value to be able to serve your community in an essential on-demand business, and the timing could not be more perfect for people who are entrepreneurs or those looking to convert an existing business into a Heating + Air Paramedics,” Carpenter added.

The total initial investment to open a Heating + Air Paramedics is between $105,240 and $205,800 and includes a $40,000 fee that must be paid to the franchisor. The initial franchise fee is waived for existing business owners who convert their business. For more information about Heating + Air Paramedics, visit https://www.heatingairparamedics.com/.
