Home Clean Heroes Hosts 2022 Convention, The Brand’s First In-Person Event
Franchise owners, company executives and exhibitors met in Mexico for a ‘fantastic time.’
Since its founding in 2017, Home Clean Heroes has grown into a high-demand franchise system with 32 units awarded across six states. Recently, the residential cleaning brand’s executive team coordinated the Home Clean Heroes 2022 Convention to celebrate the company-wide milestones, share information about the industry, and allow many of the franchisees to meet face-to-face for the first time.
From Wednesday, November 2, until Saturday, November 5, the company’s attendees convened at a resort in Cancún, Mexico, ready for a schedule full of informative sessions, opportunities to network, and special moments of recognition to applaud the successes of the brand and its individual franchisees.
“Our 2022 Convention was a fantastic time. It was such a meaningful experience for everyone, and being the first in-person convention, it was an extremely valuable time to have together,” said Joe Delatte, president of Home Clean Heroes. “Everyone involved has had great feedback about what they learned and how valuable connecting face-to-face was.”
“One of the most meaningful items from our convention was the opportunity for personal interaction with my fellow franchisees,” said David Houck, owner of Home Clean Heroes of South Charlotte. “I now have a real relationship and have several people with whom I will stay in contact and use as a sounding board in the future.”
During the convention’s Awards Dinner, many successful franchisees were recognized for their respective accomplishments. Adeola Shabiyi, the owner of Home Clean Heroes of Tampa Bay, won the peer-nominated Super Hero Award, which goes to the franchise owner that shows the most passion, positivity and enthusiasm, and the title of Customer Recruitment Champion for the second year in a row. Malia Sharpe of Metro Atlanta and Kristin and Justin Humphrey of West Houston both won the Lightning Fast Start award for exceeding $70,000 in revenue within six months of starting; the Humphreys also won the Super Customer Satisfaction Award for having the highest NPS system-wide.
Throughout the multi-day event, attendees had the opportunity to listen to keynote speeches and presentations on various topics related to their business and the cleaning industry overall, which is estimated to be worth $40.38 billion by 2025.
Delatte hosted sessions on the brand’s wins, future goals and performance targets and tracking, as well as updates on the company’s Heroes First charitable initiative. Lecture hosts also included Brittany Potter, a Home Clean Heroes franchise business coach, franchise owner Kristin Humphrey, and a representative from CareerPlug with an interactive session about hiring for success and developing a team. Potter also hosted a discussion about sales tips and strategies with Denise Morris, Vice President of Franchise Operations, and Tee Joyner, local Operations manager.
Kathy Turley, Director of Marketing, facilitated a Q&A to offer solutions for any inquiries franchise owners had, as well as hosted a marketing roundup session; author Ross Shafer spoke about creating “wow!” versus “pow!” moments; and Ben Fox, President of ProNexis home service lead development platform, dove into call center streamline operations.
Moreover, additional events included informative sessions on the serviceminder platform, managing a balance sheet, maximizing digital resources and more. Attendees were also able to get new headshots taken in their Home Clean Heroes gear, had the chance to tour exhibitor booths and network with franchisees at British Swim School and Pool Scouts, sister brands under the Buzz Franchise Brands umbrella, which were also hosting conventions at the property that weekend.
“This event was a great success,” Delatte said. “The Home Clean Heroes team is thrilled that we were able to bring key players in our brand together to learn, celebrate and have a hands-on opportunity like our 2022 Convention afforded us.”
The startup costs for a Home Clean Heroes single-unit franchise range from $76,902 to $100,851. To learn more about franchising with Home Clean Heroes, visit http://homecleanheroesfranchise.com.
