As Facebook tests out its new Buy call-to-action button and working out all the kinks, it might be a good idea for brands to start prepping their strategy on how they can effectively use the feature. For some brands, this may not seem like a valid option, but gift cards for retail brands or food service concepts can increase fan count and direct customer interaction. Facebook will create a unique hybridization of social media and e-commerce, creating a one-stop shop for users to find reviews while being able to purchase on the same platform. With many doubting the success of the Buy button, it is hard to overlook the fact that Facebook now creates a platform with some of the most trusted reviews and specific brand advertisements, all while offering these products for purchase. This powerful tool makes social media management and content creation even more important for companies to create a new, successful revenue stream. Social media is constantly changing and with Facebook consistently testing and changing, make sure your brand is re-strategizing to stay ahead of the curve.
