How Freshii’s Franchise Development Website Helped One Entrepreneur Finalize Their Investment Decision
Tina Nurmi Franceschina explains what made the brand’s development site stand out.
This past February, Tina Nurmi Franceschina opened a Freshii in Royal Oak, Michigan. The fast-casual restaurant serves healthier options, including salads, soups, wraps, burritos and smoothies. Freshii was founded in 2005, and the brand has more than 100 locations across the globe.
1851 Franchise caught up with Franceschina to learn more about her process in choosing to become a Freshii franchisee.
1851: What made you initially attracted to the brand?
Franceschina: My initial attraction was the design concept, the menu and the price. All of these made me eat there and then after eating my meal I was hooked.
1851: What parts of the brand made you decide to buy it?
Franceschina: The market I live in needed something exactly like Freshii. Plus there’s not much competition.
1851: When researching the brand, how important was the Website in helping educate you about the opportunity?
Franceschina: The website definitely helped because of its design, but it also showcased the green side of Freshii, philanthropy and also news coverage.
1851: How did you perform due diligence on the brand?
Franceschina: I attended HQ and went on a tour of different Freshii locations as well as speaking with the CEO and listening to current partners. I also connected with partners in my state to pick their brains.
1851: How do you absorb content/media today?
Franceschina: I don’t have much downtime anymore to sit and watch the news, so I catch up on my apps.
