JDog Brands, the nearly-300 unit parent franchisor to both JDog Junk Removal & Hauling and JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care, has identified Cincinnati, Ohio as a prime market for further growth. With 13 territories currently operating in the state and one more in progress, a foundation of brand awareness has been laid, and new owners will be well-positioned to network with existing JDog owners in the state.

“We have seen strong growth and performance by other JDog businesses in the state, and we’re looking forward to growing our presence,” explained Kevin Kopa, President and COO of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling. “In the greater Cincinnati area, there is space for eight new JDog territories.”

Brandon Ouellette, who owns JDog Junk Removal & Hauling territories in both Ohio and Michigan, has shared how meaningful his JDog experience has been.

“I was excited to be a part of the vast network of business owners that are Vets. We can share knowledge and network together,” he said. “I can also give back to the Vet community through the JDog Foundation and working with the VA. Being a part of JDog is almost like being back in the military because of the strong networks and bonds I’ve made.”

In addition to the important work he is doing, Ouellette is equally confident in his ability to expand his business, saying, “I plan on growing the territories I have now and getting more trucks on the road. I would love to have eight to 10 trucks on the road for my current territory. I am definitely interested in expanding in the future.”

With a 4.17% increase in population between 2010 and 2020, the Cincinnati area has been growing steadily, indicating a continuing demand for home services such as junk removal and floor care as more families and young professionals permeate the area.

Each JDog Brands territory also brings the potential for up to five jobs, meaning the brand will be able to grow to offer 40 additional employment opportunities in the Cincinnati neighborhood as each territory is built up.

“We’re looking forward to branching out into these new territories and opening our doors to new communities,” said JDog Brands CEO and Founder Jerry Flanagan. “We value our relationship with Veterans, and firmly believe this expansion will allow us to reach even more Veterans from additional communities.”

The total investment necessary to begin the operation of a JDog Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care ranges from $37,909 to $169,947, including a $10,000–$25,000 franchise fee. The total investment necessary to begin the operation of a JDog Junk Removal & Hauling ranges from $30,000 to $110,000, including a $35,000 franchise fee.
