Jersey Mike’s has achieved a significant milestone, opening its 3,000th location in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, as part of a record-breaking year for the brand, according to a recent press release. In 2024 alone, the sub chain added 322 new locations, bringing its total footprint to over 4,000 units either open or in development.

This achievement follows the brand’s majority stake acquisition by Blackstone in November. The partnership with Blackstone aims to accelerate Jersey Mike’s domestic and international expansion while supporting its ongoing technology and digital transformation initiatives.

CEO Peter Cancro, who purchased the sub shop in 1975, expressed optimism about the brand’s growth trajectory, noting that the company is still in the "early innings" of its development. The brand’s growth is supported by its strong culture of giving and customer appeal on a national scale.

Jersey Mike’s sales performance has also been impressive, with $3.4 billion in sales last year — a 25% increase over 2022 — accompanied by 12% year-over-year unit growth. This momentum highlights the chain’s rapid expansion, having grown from 1,665 locations in 2019 to its current scale, demonstrating its ability to capture market share and sustain consumer interest in a competitive landscape.
