Although these two generations vary greatly in the way they view life’s priorities, they do have one thing in common: a demonstrated willingness to outsource home services. Baby boomers are no longer able to perform the tasks around the home they once did, and millennials are willing to pay someone to do these services so that they don’t have to. Together, this means a huge opportunity for franchisees who partner with Joshua Tree Experts to offer tree maintenance, lawn care and pest control services.&nbsp;With the in-demand services offered by Joshua Tree Experts, franchisees will find that recurring revenue will set them on a pathway to success.As single-family homes represent the largest portion of clientele for Joshua Tree Experts, the potential for recurring revenue can be significant. “The landscape service was valued at $114 billion in 2021, and is projected to grow to $129 billion in 2026,” said Malik. “The rebound from the pandemic means our industry is thriving, and when people find out you’re a tree expert, everyone comes to you with questions and that really opens up the door to opportunities for franchisees.”In fact, Malik said that about 60% of the brand’s revenue comes from recurring revenue streams. “We have about $4.4 million in revenue already set up going into 2022,” he added. “And when we rolled out new services, between 70% and 80% of existing customers signed on, adding even more revenue for the brand.”Franchisees who sign on with Joshua Tree Experts will find a wealth of support and experience. The leadership team behind Joshua Tree Experts has nearly two decades of experience, and the emerging brand already has five units in operation and 60 staff members.&nbsp;When it comes to signing its first franchisees, the goal is to find candidates who are ready for a life change and are able to follow a proven business model.“The first few franchisees are the most important,” said Malik. “We want candidates who come from an industry or system where they’ve learned how to follow a proven model, knows what works, has a hard work ethic, has high emotional intelligence and are good communicators. We also want franchisees who look at this as a partnership, and be part of the Joshua Tree Experts team.”Malik said Joshua Tree Experts is looking to sell five franchises in 2022 and is targeting its home state of Pennsylvania and nearby East Coast states first.
