The couple jumped at the opportunity to own a restaurant with the brand. In total, the Davises signed up to open 6 restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.“When I read an article that Layne’s was franchising, I called almost immediately to start digging in and getting a better idea of what all it took to open,” said Scott. “We have a lot of operational experience, but it comes down to people. That is the key element we are looking for, and it is without a doubt Layne’s HQ team’s greatest strength. We wanted a great partner to develop the market together.”Scott and Heather were eager to break into the Denton market with Layne’s Chicken Fingers. The city’s population has been steadily growing, and the couple knows the community will love the food as much as they do. Scott and Heather already have their eye on nearby cities like Burleson, Arlington and Mansfield for their remaining five locations and are likely to sign another deal with the brand to open other restaurants across the state in the future.
