The June jobs report showed that the country continues to add more jobs and unemployment continues to be low, that's according to a recent article in the New York Times.
That tight labor market is having an impact across the business landscape, and causing brands like growing franchise Lightbridge Academy to continue to find ways to attract and retain quality employees as they increase business at existing locations and open new franchise locations.
“We are always looking for job candidates,” Gigi Schweikert, president and chief operating officer of Lightbridge Academy, told the New York Times. “While many industries can move toward automation,” she said, “you can’t in caring for young children.”
