Local Entrepreneurs Open Office Evolution Coworking Space in Woodbridge Township on Wednesday, January 23

Local entrepreneurs and husband-and-wife team George and Karen Fisher are pleased to announce the official grand opening of the first Office Evolution franchise in Woodbridge Township on Wednesday, January 23 at 4 p.m. at 485 Route US-1 South Building C, Suite 350.

Office Evolution is a coworking space franchise that provides executive suites, flexible office spaces and virtual offices to independent professionals and small business owners nationwide. Karen Fisher, who attended Rutgers University, was inspired to open an Office Evolution franchise thanks to her father’s experience as a small business owner. She and George, who live in Hillsborough, New Jersey, are eager to provide Woodbridge Township and the surrounding communities with much-needed business space services. They signed a two-unit deal with Office Evolution and are already scoping out real estate for their second location in Middlesex County.

“What really attracted me to Office Evolution was the chance to help small businesses grow,” Karen said. “I saw how difficult it was for my dad to build a business from the ground up. That experience inspires me to provide small business owners with space to build their business and a community where like-minded people collaborate and support each other through their entrepreneurial struggles.”

The other reason the Fishers were drawn to Office Evolution is that they knew the flexible model would allow them to maintain their full-time jobs as they got their location up and running. Karen is a CPA who has worked for major corporations for more than 20 years, and George is a network engineer for Verizon Communication. While business ownership is a new venture for them both, they’re confident the centralized location of Woodbridge Township will prove to be a great fit for Office Evolution.

“We’re noticing significant business development in Woodbridge Township,” Karen said. “Businesses are sprouting up quickly because the construction permit approval process and buildout are relatively painless. Getting a permit in other areas of the state can take weeks, but here, it only took a few days. That speaks volumes about Woodbridge Township and how they value businesses. We’re ready to show what we have to offer.”

Like Karen, George was attracted to the brand’s core value of Ohana, used to describe a group of people fighting for the same purpose.

The location holds 33 offices and two conference rooms that will provide local entrepreneurs with much-needed space to collaborate and grow.
