If your brand isn’t on Snapchat yet, it’s time—the app is about to explode in popularity.
As the hugely popular image messaging and multimedia app continues growing its user base to attract big advertising dollars, one thing is clear—this is just the beginning for Snapchat. An eMarketer report on Tuesday revealed that the social app—which claims to have 150 million daily users worldwide—would grow 27.2 percent during 2016 and then another 13.6 percent next year. That would put Snapchat at a whopping 217 million users by the end of 2017.
Millennials currently make up the greatest share of Snapchat’s American base. But in order to truly make a lasting impact in the social space, the company is aiming to appeal to a much broader audience.
