The Charlotte Observer: Franchisees John and Robin Ficara Open First North Carolina Restaurant for MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes
John and Robin Ficara have had a rocket ride of success since opening the franchise in February 2015.
The Charlotte franchise industry is in full-swing, and John and Robin Ficara became a part of it when they opened a MOOYAH Burgers, Fries, and Shakes in February 2015.

This was the first North Carolina area location of the Texas-based restaurant franchise, founded in 2007. John and Robin were instant fans of MOOYAH’s better-burger concept, and the freshness of the food.

“We make our bread on site here. Our milkshakes are 100 percent ice cream…Our fries are hand cut,” Ficara told The Charlotte Observer.

John and Robin prefer to be in the dining room and getting to know customers, something John has been able to focus on since hiring a general manager and solely wearing the owner hat. John is also a development agent, which means he will continue to be a part of this Charlotte franchise boom into the future as he expands the brand.
