According to a&nbsp;<a href="https://bit.ly/2ISoc2d?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=nations-restaurant-news-taco-bell-tests-french-toast-chalupa-for-breakfast-2706270" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="color:rgb(17, 85, 204)" target="_blank">recent article in Nation&#39;s Restaurant News</a>, the brand is testing a French Toast Chalupa in Dayton, Ohio. This test follows the launch of a new breakfast item, the Naked Egg Taco.

The French Toast Chalupa features a shell made out of french toast, filled with scrambled eggs and a choice of either sausage or bacon. It will be sold in test locations for the price of $2.49.

The offering will be the latest in a line of innovative menu additions introduced by Taco Bell. Earlier this year, the brand saw massive success with the limited-time introduction of Nacho Fries. In the future, the brand plans to launch an assortment of chips in retail stores.
