Taco Bell fans may soon enjoy a new twist on a classic breakfast favorite. According to a recent article in Nation's Restaurant News, the brand is testing a French Toast Chalupa in Dayton, Ohio. This test follows the launch of a new breakfast item, the Naked Egg Taco.

The French Toast Chalupa features a shell made out of french toast, filled with scrambled eggs and a choice of either sausage or bacon. It will be sold in test locations for the price of $2.49.

The offering will be the latest in a line of innovative menu additions introduced by Taco Bell. Earlier this year, the brand saw massive success with the limited-time introduction of Nacho Fries. In the future, the brand plans to launch an assortment of chips in retail stores.
