Jamba Inc. made a deal with St. Louis, Mo.-based Vitaligent LLC, the brand’s largest franchisee. According to a recent Nation’s Restaurant News article, Vitaligent bought 21 units from a former franchisee and plans to develop 12 new outlets in Seattle and the surrounding area. The group now has 100 stores in Missouri, California and Washington state.

“Vitaligent shares our vision for continued growth in serving communities where Jamba’s premium, handcrafted blends complement the active lifestyles of consumers,” Dave Pace, Jamba president and CEO, said.

Jamba Inc. has made some changes in the last year including moving this headquarters from Emeryville, California to Frisco, Texas. And according to brand statements, there have been changes to the company’s business model, leadership and personnel that have delayed the company completing financials. Currently, Jamba Juice Co. has 800 locations.
