Liz Friedmann is gearing up to open the third TWO MEN AND A TRUCK moving service in New Jersey, opening a location in Clifton, as the company’s winner of a $50,000 Mary Ellen's Moving People Forward Scholarship. Friedmann told NJ Biz, "When I came to New Jersey, it was really that ‘aha’ moment. We traveled around the area a lot and I really like Clifton. I have a 7-year-old, and it seemed like a good place to be with my family and to start a business.”

Along with Friedmann's location, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is looking to open locations in eleven additional markets, specifically eyeing Sicklerville, Vineland, Camden, Jersey City, Hackensack, Asbury Park, Paterson, Union, Plainfield, Morristown and Wayne. Pamela Batten, Compliance Director for TWO MEN AND A TRUCK, explained, "They just happen to be some of the areas where we still have a lot of opportunity. Our franchisees care a lot about our customers and the communities we serve. We’ve been lucky enough to get some and do really well. That leaves the rest of the state open for development. What we have found with the franchises that have opened, they’ve had a lot of need for the service and we see there’s a customer base and need for more TWO MEN AND A TRUCK*, which in turn gives some opportunity to business owners in that area.”
