Nutella Follows in Taco Bell's Footsteps and Opens Hotel: Hotella Nutella

Does this mean room service will leave Nutella-covered strawberries on your pillow?

This is a PSA for all you crazed chocolate hazelnut spread lovers: Nutella is opening a hotel where guests can eat Nutella, sleep with Nutella, shower with Nutella and repeat. According to Delish, Hotella Nutella will be opening its doors for one weekend and one weekend only from January 10 to 12, 2020 in Napa Valley, California.

When guests arrive, they will be welcomed by all things Nutella—signs, flags and a kitchen stocked with (you guessed it) Nutella. Guests will also be able to enjoy a sweet night’s slumber surrounded by Nutella-branded bedspreads, wallpaper and pillows. Did I mention that breakfast will be prepared by celebrity chefs such as Iron Chef and Food Network celebrity judge Geoffrey Zakarian and Top Chef’s Tanya Holland?

How does one make a reservation to stay at the Hotella Nutella? Fans must create a video explaining “Why Nutella makes their mornings special and why they deserve to stay in the hotel,” according to Delish. Only three fans and their guests will win this delicious getaway, so make sure your arguments are ones that the judges can’t resist—just like Nutella.

Hotella Nutella comes soon after Taco Bell saw immense success with its pop-up hotel, which was open between August 8 to12. In just under two minutes, the hotel was sold out. Taco Bell and Nutella are just two brands that are stepping outside of their lane—a McDonald’s in Hong Kong proved to customers that the fast food chain is more than just Big Macs when it began taking reservations for wedding ceremonies. For brands in the franchise foodservice industry, innovative and experiential marketing—or experiences that “facilitate conversations through hands-on, personal moments that encourage audiences to actively participate with the brand,” according to AdAge—may just be what’s for dinner (or, in this case, dessert).
