On the Border Appoints New COO
Luis Ruvalcaba previously worked for Peet’s Coffee and Chili’s, among other brands.
On the Border has appointed chain restaurant industry veteran Luis Ruvalcaba as its new COO, according to a Restaurant Business report.
Ruvalcaba most recently served as the vice president of retail operations for Peet’s Coffee, and his other previous experiences include roles at Chili’s, BJ’s Restaurants and Patxi’s Pizza, according to the article.
“Luis will be a tremendous asset in helping us reclaim our position as the leader in Mexican casual dining,” On the Border CEO Matt Hood said in a statement, according to the article.
