The brand has opened six of its nine stores in the market in the past twelve months and is looking to build off this momentum by developing new shops in Huntersville, Gastonia and Cornelius.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">"Charlotte is a very fast-growing area, and there's a lot of very exciting economic development that's going on there, so I think it naturally lends itself to our target," said Papa Murphy's VP of Franchise Sales Gary Payne in an interview with the Charlotte Business Journal.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><a href="https://papamurphys.1851franchise.com/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=charlotte-business-journal-leading-take-n-bake-pizza-chain-targets-charlotte-north-carolina-for-expansion-5822" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Papa Murphy's</a> has been successful by differentiating not only their product but also their marketing tactics. The brand offers an uncooked product and aims to serve families with their customizable pizzas and high quality ingredients. Papa Murphy's goal is to open a total of 25 stores in the Charlotte area within the next two to five years.</span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style=""><br /></span></div><div id="pastingspan1"><span style="">"We're expanding in some of the smaller (markets) in the Southeast before tackling an Atlanta," Payne said to the Charlotte Business Journal.
