PJ’s Coffee, a 90-plus unit coffee franchise, is giving away a franchise license free of charge to one deserving veteran, the brand announced in a recent release. As part of an increased emphasis on drawing military veterans to the multibillion dollar coffee industry, PJ’s Coffee has brought back its Veteran Franchise License Giveaway for a second year.

Interested veterans can apply via the PJ’s Coffee franchise development site now through December 31. Once their application is received, they are asked  to submit a short video detailing how their military service experience has prepared them to be a PJ’s Coffee franchisee. The winner will be announced in January 2019.

“PJ’s Coffee is grateful for every veteran’s service to this country and is honored to provide a sustainable career for those returning home from duty,” said Chief Development Officer David Mesa. “After awarding our first franchise license to Marine Corps veteran, Jeff Hateley, last year it became clear this was an initiative PJ’s Coffee had to continue. Jeff has blossomed as a formidable entrepreneur and we hope this annual giveaway will empower other veterans to embrace their entrepreneurial spirit.”
