Continuing along an impressive growth trajectory, Pollo Campero, the world’s largest Central American chicken franchise, is adding to its 89 U.S. restaurant locations with the help of its mobile Road Show Discovery Days. In an effort to further decrease barriers to entry, Pollo Campero is visiting key markets nationwide to host a Discovery Day experience for interested franchisees in their very own markets. Its next stop is Denver, Colorado, where the Pollo Campero team will host a presentation and be available for one-on-one meetings between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, September 21.
“We have an opportunity to present the brand to potential franchise partners who have already shown interest in developing restaurants with us,” said Blas Escarcega, director of franchise development. “This event allows them to see us, meet us and ask any questions they have. We will offer one-on-one interviews for more opportunities to discuss negotiations both ways. It is very exciting to go experience these markets firsthand and get a better sense of the city.”
Escarcega also added that Pollo Campero welcomes interested parties with a range of backgrounds to attend. From restaurant owners to real estate investors and longtime entrepreneurs, the Pollo Campero business model lends itself to franchisees’ success given they are passionate about their business and willing to follow the proven processes.
The Denver Road Show Discovery Day will be hosted at Hyatt Place Denver/Cherry Creek, located at 4150 East Mississippi Avenue, Denver, Colorado, United States, 80246. The morning will start with a group presentation on Pollo Campero, then attendees will enjoy lunch and have an opportunity to meet with Escarcega one-on-one for additional information.
“We’re excited to visit Denver because of the interest we’ve seen in Pollo Campero in the area,” said Escarcega. “We don’t yet have a strong presence in the rocky mountains, but Colorado is already showing great interest. People have visited our locations in SoCal and Las Vegas and are anticipating our move to Colorado.”
Pollo Campero has already received positive feedback from people in the area who are familiar with the menu. The Pollo Campero recipe marinates the meat to the bone, meaning guests receive chicken that is juicy and flavorful with every bite whether they order their meal Citrus Grilled or Campero Fried.
By carrying on the tradition of a Guatemalan family-owned restaurant, Pollo Campero brings a chicken product that is in high demand to communities across the country who are excited to taste the difference.
As it grows, Pollo Campero aims to host additional Road Show Discovery Days in other markets nationwide, allowing prospective franchisees to experience Pollo Campero in their own cities.
“We are confident we will improve and optimize the Road Show Discovery Day experience as we bring it to more and more cities,” said Escarcega. “Overall, we are eager to bring Pollo Campero to more communities by partnering with qualified franchisees who can build locally-owned businesses they can be proud of. If these Road Show Discovery Days go well, we will hopefully see some signings and start the process of opening restaurants in cities where Road Shows have been held such as Birmingham, San Antonio and beyond.”
