Pool Scouts Announces Record-Setting Q2, With 123% Revenue Spike Over Q1

With six new signings and a nearly 100% YOY revenue increase, the pool cleaning and maintenance brand continues the momentum in Q3.

Pool Scouts, the pool cleaning and maintenance franchise with 90 territories nationwide, is smashing revenue and franchise sales goals this year as it rides the momentum of the post-pandemic pool craze. And the wave just keeps getting bigger.

The brand saw a revenue jump of 123% in Q2 compared to Q1, which is not surprising considering the record-breaking heatwaves hitting large areas of the country, urging homeowners to up their pool usage. More telling of the brand’s growth, though, is its 72% increase in revenue in Q2 2021 compared to Q2 2020.

The demand for pool care has been climbing for the past 18 months, proving Pool Scouts is a recession and pandemic-proof business model. The thousands of pools installed during the pandemic for family entertainment are now in need of high quality care and maintenance, and Pool Scouts capitalized on the opportunity.

One of the brand’s newest franchise owners is seeing a surge in demand in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.

With so many people moving to Nashville and building pools, right now there is an 18-24 month waiting list to have a pool installed,” said Brian Seeliger, owner of Pool Scouts of Nashville. “I truly felt the service was needed here. Plus, Pool Scouts as a brand just does it right, from how they treat their customers, scaling the business and making sure the job is done with a smile.”

Pool Scouts is seeing similar results on the franchise development front. In Q2 alone, the brand welcomed six new franchisees to its system. That’s on top of the six new signings in Q1. On its mission to expand nationwide, Pool Scouts broke into two brand new states — Arizona and Idaho — and two new markets —Nashville and Tampa — all areas with growing populations and a growing need for pool care. Q2 also brought Pool Scouts its largest development deal to date with a six-unit agreement in Phoenix, Arizona.

After a year of triple digit growth in pool sales, Pool Scouts’ high quality and professional maintenance services are in high demand. The brand is looking to ride this momentum into Q3 and beyond as it seeks to expand in markets like Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Atlanta.

“We blew our goals out of the water in the first half of 2021,” said Pool Scouts President Michael Wagner. “The growth in pool owners in 2020 really amplified our target market, and our growing brand awareness put us in a great position to take advantage of that. Our team is ready to keep expanding and bring the Pool Scouts name to communities across the country.”

The average startup costs for a Pool Scouts franchise is $113,000. To learn more about franchising with Pool Scouts, visit https://poolscoutsfranchise.com/.
