Property Management Inc. (PMI), one of the nation’s top property management franchises, was recognized as one of the Fastest-Growing Franchises in the March/April issue of Entrepreneur Magazine and on Entrepreneur.com. The 2023 ranking highlights the companies that saw the greatest franchise unit growth in the U.S. and Canada from July 2021 to July 2022. PMI was ranked #90.

“We are honored to have been included on Entrepreneur’s Fastest-Growing Franchises list this year,” says PMI CEO, Co-Founder and President Steve Hart. “Over the past two years, we have seen incredible growth at PMI. We have welcomed 150 new Franchisees into our brand since 2021, and these new businesses have started to gain traction in their local communities, contributing to this explosive growth we’ve been experiencing. Additionally, these new Franchisees continue to strive to be leaders in their local markets—and they're elevating the game.”

In 2022, PMI had a milestone year. The brand started the year with 361 units and added over 40 signings throughout the year. PMI also experienced an impressive 32% growth in revenue in 2023 while adding over 76 new franchise locations throughout the United States this year, expanding its footprint to include Franchisees in 46 states.

This year, Hart says the brand is very focused on putting its Franchisees first. “After going through those initial startup years, we're at a point now where we're really transitioning our focus to the Franchisees,” he says. “Two of our major 2023 initiatives are related to marketing and operations.”

With units located all over the country, as well as in the Dominican Republic, Malta, Costa Rica, Curacao, and Puerto Rico, PMI is consistently experiencing growth and expansion. The franchise was also recently ranked on Entrepreneur Magazine’s 2023 Franchise 500®  list, placing #146 in the publication’s 44th annual accolades, as well as ranking #1 in the Property Management category.

The Fastest-Growing Franchises ranking is based on information submitted to Entrepreneur for its annual Franchise 500 and is part of the brand’s continuing effort to best understand and evaluate the ever-changing franchise marketplace. The ranking appears in the March/April 2023 issue of Entrepreneur. Franchise companies are ranked based on their net U.S. and Canada franchise unit growth from July 31, 2021 to July 31, 2022. Ties are broken based on percentage growth.

“Our 2023 Fastest-Growing Franchises ranking recognizes the franchise brands with the greatest growth but also highlights the extraordinary momentum in the industry over the past year. After all, growth is what franchising is all about,” said Entrepreneur Senior Vice President of Franchising Liane Caruso.
