YouGov BrandIndex reported that in the past 18 months chicken chains have seen higher interest and sales than Mexican quick service and fast casual. <span style="s, Popeyes, and Boston Market are all seeing an uptick in interest&#8212;and survey numbers show that they are right. 19.5 percent of consumers said that for their next fast food visit they are considering chicken, while only 17.5 percent said they would consider burgers.
