According to a&nbsp;<a href="https://bit.ly/2JbNqNv?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=qsr-magazine-mcdonalds-to-add-1000-new-kiosks-every-quarter-2706723" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="color:rgb(17, 85, 204)" target="_blank">recent article in QSR Magazine</a>, the brand hopes to add an additional 1,000 kiosk per quarter. The brand hopes to sustain this upgrade schedule for between eight and nine quarters.

&ldquo;We&#39;re introducing many options. They can order through mobile, they can come curbside and we&#39;ll run it out as well as the existing traditional ways. You can pay in different ways and customize your food in different ways. I think we&#39;re trying to add more choice and variety,&rdquo; said CEO Steve Easterbrook.

The kiosks are part of the brand&#39;s&nbsp;Experience of the Future project. This design upgrade is a multi-year plan that the brand has invested over $2 billion into executing across its system. &nbsp;
