QSR Magazine: White Castle Raises Over $180K for American Red Cross

The 14-day promotion brought in $181,495 for the American Red Cross Fire Campaign and increases the campaign’s lifetime contribution to more than $650K.

White Castle and the American Red Cross are singing to the tune of $181,495.

The hamburger chain announced to its customers that they helped raise money for the American Red Cross Home Fire Campaign. The 14-day promotion encouraged customers to purchase a paper Red Cross for $1, $3 and $5 at about 400 White Castle locations.

"At White Castle, we are dedicated to feeding hunger, hopes and dreams through our Castle Shares initiative," said Jamie Richardson, White Castle vice president. 

This is the fourth year White Castle has partnered with the American Red Cross.
