More and more people want to either have their food delivered or take it to go, which is prompting restaurants to scale back their real estate needs, according to a Bloomberg report.
Major brands such as Firehouse Subs and McDonald’s are changing up their restaurant spaces to accommodate the changing landscape, according to the article.
"The impact from delivery is the greatest shift we've seen yet," Firehouse CEO Don Fox told Bloomberg. "We're investing in where the business is going, which is off site.”
