What do you want us to know?Sacha Butts: Prior to purchasing the franchise, I served in the military in the U.S. Navy as a Seabee and then became a federal investigator. I started researching home care after my mom was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer. That’s when I got introduced to in-home care. We went through various agencies, and we were fortunate to have one caregiver who was amazing — very supportive and helpful. It made the process so much easier and less stressful. It allowed me to go back to being a daughter, not just a caregiver. I wanted to be able to give that same peace of mind to someone else.1851: What was your perception of franchising prior to becoming a franchisee, and what do you want people to know about franchising now that you are in it?Butts: The statistics for success are much higher when starting a franchise versus building something from scratch. That was a big factor for me — I wanted that support and structure.1851: What made you pick this brand? What excites you most about this company?Butts: Right at Home didn’t just focus on the money.
