Weathington explained that strong Franchise Owners are likely already participating in their communities through local organizations and events. Ownership with Shuckin’ Shack is just another way for them to further this mission.Focusing on the people side of the franchise first, the Shuckin’ Shack team’s priority is to identify the right-fit owner. From there, they will be flexible, working with the Franchise Owner to identify prime neighborhoods and select real estate for the new restaurant.“If a prospective owner is already active in their community, it is a good indicator of alignment with our values and an ability to run the Shuckin’ Shack business in a meaningful way,” Weathington said. “Once this person is identified, we can work together to determine which areas within the Burlington market will be the best fit.”&nbsp;Because of the strong market potential, Weathington said the new Sumter location can likely be opened within a year.
