The new design — being rolled out in the brand’s upcoming Marion, Illinois location — is both modern and affordable, and specifically tailored to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for patrons.According to<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/mike-stasko-6240411/?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=sunny-street-cafe-unveils-new-and-improved-restaurant-design-concept-2722333" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">&nbsp;Mike Stasko</a>, the Vice President of Brand Strategy at<a href="https://1851franchise.com/sunnystreetcafe">&nbsp;Sunny Street Café</a>, the new design concept touches nearly every aspect of the restaurant, from the décor and operational features to a newly enhanced take-out and to-go area. The square footage has also been optimized, and the patio has been upgraded to provide a more enjoyable dining experience in the warmer months. In addition, the new design features a new alcoholic beverage service, including mimosas and other mixed cocktails, which is a historic first for the brand.The updated color palette and newly upholstered booths are just a few of the new design elements that guests can expect to see in the new concept. The enhanced patio space now includes permanent coverings and awnings, as well as a small spillover area for outdoor games, making it an ideal spot for family friendly dining.“We had to be cognizant on how our take out business flows within the operation, while making sure the dine-in guests still have a top notch experience,” Stasko said. “As delivery and third party sales continued to grow, it was important that we address that within the new floorplan.”Stasko emphasized that the new design concept is both an “art and a science,” as it was created with the aim of streamlining the process from the front of the house to the back while making the restaurant as inviting as possible. The Sunny Street Café team was committed to modernizing the design of its restaurants, while still utilizing the space and keeping building costs down.One of the highlights of the new design is its affordability, which was achieved through the use of more cost-effective building materials. This move will keep building costs low for prospective franchisees while maintaining the quality and design aesthetic that Sunny Street Café is known for.The new design concept, which is set to be implemented in all of Sunny Street Café’s new locations going forward, will be introduced first in Marion, Illinois.“The new design concept fits the Sunny Street Café brand perfectly.
