Move over, donut fries/sticks/whatever. A churro donut has hit the market in a test capacity, courtesy of Taco Bell. <a href="https://www.nrn.com/quick-service/taco-bell-adds-1-loaded-nacho-taco-tests-churro-doughnut?NL=NRN-02_&amp%3BIssue=NRN-02__20190329_NRN-02__72&amp%3Bsfvc4enews=42&amp%3Bcl=article_2&amp%3Butm_rid=CPG06000007795822&amp%3Butm_campaign=29373&amp%3Butm_medium=email&amp%3Belq2=01a461ef30b449af92773ad91a15f300&utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=taco-bell-is-testing-a-churro-donut-for-1-2709575" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">According to an article in Nation&rsquo;s Restaurant News</a>, the menu addition is being tested in select Kansas City, Missouri locations come April 4. &ldquo;The $1 Churro Donut is everything you know and love about a churro in the shape of a doughnut,&rdquo; Taco Bell said.

Taco Bell is also adding a Loaded Nacho Taco to its dollar menu nationwide and testing a Double Beef Quesarito in Charlotte, North Carolina, NRN noted. 

Donut products have been a trend at QSR franchises in recent months, with <a href="https://1851franchise.com/nation-s-restaurant-news-dunkin-donuts-tests-donut-fries--2706208" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Dunkin&rsquo;</a>, <a href="https://1851franchise.com/report-mcdonald-s-is-releasing-its-own-version-of-dunkin-s-donut-fries-2708783#mainTrending" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">McDonald&rsquo;s</a> and <a href="https://www.today.com/food/burger-king-now-selling-funnel-cake-french-fries-t147265?utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=taco-bell-is-testing-a-churro-donut-for-1-2709575" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Burger King</a> all getting into the mix with various versions of the same item. While in the same vein as these competing offerings, the churro donut is a particularly clever creation in that it allows Taco Bell to reach the same audience with a product that doesn&rsquo;t diverge from the rest of its menu. &nbsp;
