According to an article on NRN, Taco Bell Corp. is running low on flour tortillas. Customers who ordered from the Taco Bell app this past Wednesday were informed that many of the franchise’s most popular menu items, including chicken quesadillas and bean burritos, were not available.

“Some Taco Bell restaurants are experiencing supplier shortages,” the chain told Nation’s Restaurant News in a statement. “We are working diligently to replenish the supply of our tortillas in those restaurants.”

Various reports described shortages in Alabama, New York, Philadelphia and Kentucky.

In the meantime, Taco Bell is encouraging customers to order other menu items that do not feature the flour tortilla. “We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause and appreciate our customers’ patience,” the company said.
