Teriyaki Madness Expands Delivery Platform on Popular App
With the success of the TMAD app that launched last year, Teriyaki Madness is getting into the delivery game.
According to an article on QSR, customers who order directly through the Teriyaki Madness app can now choose to have their food delivered.
After an impressive year, Teriyaki Madness is expanding their delivery platform to feature partnerships with nearly every third-party delivery company, including Doordash, Postmates and others.
“In the past, customers could only order directly from these third parties,” said the article. “Now, customers still get their food, delivery companies still get their delivery fees, and it reduces the commission to nothing for the franchises—a win-win for everyone.”
“In nearly all of our markets, customers can place an order on our website or in the app and get it delivered from the most convenient third-party partner available,” Michael Haith, CEO of Teriyaki Madness told QSR. “The customer pays the delivery fee and the commission goes away, combating profit erosion and ultimately protecting our franchisees’ bottom lines.”
With this new platform, the brand's goal is to have 50% of digital orders come in through its app and the other 50% through third-party delivery vendors.
