The Morning Show: Navigating the push and pull of getting back to the office

In Canada, federal government employees are pushing back on return-to-office pressure. The COVID-19 pandemic isolated people to their homes, and many have become used to the comfort and convenience of working from home. Many are reluctant to return to the office full-time and would prefer a hybrid workplace solution. “Today, what’s really driving employees is they want to eliminate or reduce the commute,” said Berger. “The commute is the major element. Doesn’t matter what city you’re in, everybody has a commute, and it’s slow, inconvenient and it’s unproductive. These days, workers are asking to give them back sometimes three hours of their day to be more productive and drive a work life balance.”

IWG caters to the hybrid workplace model and gives workers the choice and flexibility they desire. The company has major plans for growth in Canada and America to benefit both workers and their employers.
