The Post and Courier: North Augusta Veteran Family Receives Christmas Lights From Local Business

Every year, the owner of Christmas Decor North Augusta, Kyle Flanagan, receives nominations for the Decorated Family program. This year Matt Redding, a local disabled veteran, his wife Felicia and their son William were nominated by a family member and were chosen by the brand to receive the decorations and installation. Redding served overseas as an Army combat veteran and has since medically retired from the military.

“When we heard the Reddings’ story this year, it was really just a no-brainer for us. We always get a lot [of submissions], but, unfortunately, we just can’t do them all,” Flanagan said. “When we heard their story, it just kind of hit home to my team, and we were like, ‘we have to make this happen.’”

Flanagan and his team were happy to be able to provide some holiday joy for such a great military family. He loves using Christmas Decor to give back to those in his community who have served and given so much to their country.
