In a recent Floor Covering Weekly article, The Carpet Chemist CEO and Founder Brandon Cerrito discussed his plans to secure 10 franchise locations by the end of the year to set the company up for a more nationwide expansion in 2022.

Cerrito, who founded the brand in 2017 after noticing a strong need in the carpet services industry, also discussed how The Carpet Chemist is built for growth and franchisee support at a level that stands out from its competitors. Cerrito referenced a boom in home improvement projects over the last two years that grew The Carpet Chemist’s revenue year-over-year, and said that status positioned the company in a place to welcome its first franchisee.

Cerrito says he is aiming to grow in the Midwest and is eyeing several markets, including Lexington, Kentucky and Chicago, Illinois.

The Carpet Chemist sets itself apart from its competitors in the home renovation market with its unique carpet cleaning and repair services, from installation and cleaning, to more technical services such as repair and dyeing. Trained to meet the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, Restoration and Certification standards for water damage remediation and restoration, The Carpet Chemist can clean and repair rugs and upholstery, setting the brand apart from its competitors by making it a one-stop shop for all carpet concerns.
