Forging ahead as a leading carpet cleaning and repair company, Louisville, Kentucky-based The Carpet Chemist continues its path of expansion this year by looking to grow in its home state. The brand, with a goal to reach 10 or more locations by the end of 2022, is now focusing franchise growth efforts in the major Kentucky cities of Lexington, Bowling Green and Owensboro. Carpet Chemist President, Eric Anderson, explains that the brand plans to add at least 10 franchisees by the end of the year, with a focus on Lexington in particular having the capacity to hold two or more operators.

“The Carpet Chemist already has a lot of business and a loyal customer base in Kentucky because of the original Louisville location,” said Anderson. “Lexington is an appealing area of growth because it’s an area where the brand already performs services. In Bowling Green and Owensboro, people are already familiar with the services and the quality that The Carpet Chemist offers, this gives franchisees an immediate client base to set them up for success.”

The Carpet Chemist’s Founder, Brandon Cerrito, emphasizes the brand’s demand stemming from its Louisville headquarters, where it regularly services customers all over the state and into surrounding states. The regional demand prompted the brand to announce its plans to add at least 10 new franchise locations in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and also striving for continued growth in the brand’s hometown of Louisville in 2022.

“There is no direct competition for the services we offer at The Carpet Chemist, and we continue to see incredible growth because of that,” said Cerrito. “We take traditional notions of carpet cleaning and amplify the services we offer to include not only incredible cleaning but dyeing and stretching services as well. We even offer air duct cleaning to ensure carpets stay in great condition long after being serviced.”

Cerrito notes that 2022 is an exciting time for franchisees to join the rapidly growing brand and that the high-demand territories cover areas of up to 300,000 people.

“People find the brand online and remain loyal clients because of the vast services we offer that other companies don’t and because we can address everything they need — from carpet stretching to dyeing to air duct cleaning — in one visit,” said Anderson. “Customers call the Louisville location from all over the state needing help with their floors and carpets, but soon there will be closer, franchisee-owned locations that will be able to help fill the demand.”
