With just the push of a couple buttons, these innovative salad-making machines will have a fresh salad ready for customers to enjoy in seconds. The Salad Station robots&ndash;&ndash;commonly referred to as Sally&rsquo;s&ndash;&ndash;haven been seen in medical centers, business offices, apartment complexes and transportation venues to provide a fast and healthy meal for people on the go.

&ldquo;We&rsquo;re seeing a nationwide change in eating habits,&rdquo; said The Salad Station&rsquo;s head of franchise development John Mike Heroman. &ldquo;We see growth as people are looking for healthy meal options.&rdquo;

Another fast casual chain that&rsquo;s keeping up with the digital age is <a href="https://www.mcdonalds.com/us/en-us.html?cid=PS%3AGCM_Ret%3AB%3A%3AGoogle%3Amcdonalds&amp%3Bgclsrc=aw.ds&amp%3B=&utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=the-salad-station-brings-innovative-salad-making-vending-machines-to-houston-2711046" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">McDonald&rsquo;s</a>. The Big Mac joint introduced its first <a href="https://1851franchise.com/mcdonald-s-just-upped-the-ante-for-drive-thrus--2710845" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">to-go-only location in London</a> that strictly serves food without the seating.&nbsp;

Along with Houston, The Salad Station plans to target other suburban cities in Texas such as Sugar Land, Pearland, Webster, Pasadena, Hockley and The Woodlands.

&ldquo;In terms of development, our goal is to bring 15 Salad Station restaurants to Houston in the next three years with a market capacity of 40+ locations,&rdquo; said Heroman.
