The number of third-party delivery app users has grown by over 6 million in just the past year.&nbsp;

The customer demand for delivery is clear, with over 51% suggesting they are more willing to order food if the option is available. According to the article, a whopping 83% of customers are willing to pay as much as $5 for a delivery fee.&nbsp;

&ldquo;Some restaurants and franchise owners have started speaking up about the steep fees associated with food delivery services,&rdquo; the article stated. &ldquo;Some suggest that the price isn&#39;t worth the inconvenience that the restaurant faces in fulfilling delivery orders.&rdquo;

As third-party delivery grows in popularity,&nbsp;restaurants and apps are trying to figure out how to develop their services without hurting their margins or burdening diners&rsquo; wallets.
