Locations in New York City, Philadelphia, Louisville, Ky., and Nashville were all impacted by what fans have dubbed the &ldquo;tortillapocalypse,&rdquo; in which&nbsp;Taco Bell locations were forced to turn away diners or offer a very limited menu. Flour tortillas account for many of the brand&#39;s core items including soft tacos, quesadillas, burritos and crunchwraps.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The company released a statement on Thursday as reported by <a href="https://www.nrn.com/menu/taco-bell-s-tortilla-shortage-over?NL=NRN-02_&amp%3BIssue=NRN-02__20190712_NRN-02__189&amp%3Bsfvc4enews=42&amp%3Bcl=article_1_2&amp%3Butm_rid=CPG06000017950307&amp%3Butm_campaign=31760&amp%3Butm_medium=email&amp%3Belq2=60bdcd50f104402f815972a6b27ad37c&utm_source=1851franchise.com&utm_medium=article&utm_campaign=tortillapocalypse-is-over-taco-bell-bounces-back-from-temporary-tortilla-shortage-2710511" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" style="text-decoration-line:none" target="_blank">Nation&rsquo;s Restaurant News </a>addressing the shortages. &ldquo;We appreciate our burrito-loving customers&rsquo; patience,&rdquo; said the statement. &ldquo;We have worked closely with our suppliers to resolve any shortages, and most, if not all, of our impacted restaurants should be offering our full menu so fans can now enjoy their Taco Bell favorites.&rdquo; No specific reason was provided for the unexpected event other than &ldquo;supplier shortages.&rdquo;
