Home Health Care News: Fall Risk Continues To Be An Aging-In-Place Barrier

The CDC reported falls were the leading cause of death from unintentional injury among older adults in 2020. The Government Accountability Office (GAO) also found that adults aged 45–59 with disabilities reported fall injuries at higher rates than those 60 and up.

Cincinnati, Ohio-based TruBlue Total House Care is on a mission to lower those numbers by partnering with home-based providers to ensure the home is safe for seniors wanting to age in place. The senior-focused home repair company operates under a franchising business model and specializes in house care, home maintenance and safety modifications.
