Nate Kear, the owner of San Antonio’s TruBlue Total House Care, recommended the installation of grab bars to make getting in and out of the shower much easier. “Grab bars are available in every finish and color,” Kear said. “I recommend bars with textured handles for a better grip.”
The article also made recommendations for zero-threshold showers, non-slip bathroom flooring, doorways and other household installations.
