TruBlue Total House Care, the subscription-based home maintenance and senior service concept, is growing in Dallas. With one of the franchise network’s top producers established in the area, new franchise owners will enter the market on a strong foundation.

“Dallas has been an exploding market,” explained Sean Fitzgerald, President of TruBlue. “The population is growing very quickly, and it’s a very business-friendly city and state.”

As the concept targets the city for growth, Fitzgerald says the market will be especially welcoming.

“The area is growing rapidly, both in terms of consumers and businesses. Our existing Dallas franchise owner is one of the top producers in the system, so the market area is primed for what we do,” he added. “There is space for at least 10 or 15 additional territories.”

According to the Census Bureau, the population of Dallas is over 1,200,000, and 10.6% of residents are age 65 or older — just over 130,000 people. As the population continues along a steady climb and the country’s population as a whole continues to age, the demand for senior care concepts will increase accordingly.

According to an April 2022 report by the University of Michigan Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation, 88% of adults aged 50–80 “felt it is important to remain in their homes for as long as possible.”

As the only franchise concept focusing on home maintenance and senior support service both in and outside the home, TruBlue is positioned to capture a large portion of the growing senior care industry — a market expected to reach $225 billion by 2024.

With various customizable, subscription-based services, customers can bundle selections to fit the specific needs of their home and family. One of the most popular TruBlue offerings is the House Care Plus subscription service, which ensures each customer receives 90 minutes with a TruBlue handyman each month to account for small to-do list items like lightbulb changes or leaky faucets.

“The senior population is increasingly in need of our trustworthy house care services, which is why TruBlue has been expanding rapidly over the past few years,” said Fitzgerald. “Now, we intend to keep that momentum going as we make major gains toward our goal of 200 units by 2023. Looking ahead, we are excited to continue partnering with qualified franchisees not only in Texas but in every major market across the country.”

The initial investment to start a TruBlue Total House Care ranges from $65,000 to $91,000, and interested owners can visit www.trubluefranchise.com to learn more about franchise opportunities.
