Twitter Is Making It Easier for Franchise Brands To Target Smaller Groups

Twitter adding sub-layers to advertising campaigns so brands can better target and monitor efforts on the social media platform

According to recent story in Adweek, Twitter has updated its advertising platform to include an Ad Groups function that will allow marketers to reach smaller segments within a larger group with more detailed targeting and focused creative and messaging.

Twitter Product Marketing Manager Andrea Hoffman commented that the campaign structure would provide advertisers with more control over how to allocate budgets while developing messages specific to different audiences.

For franchise marketers using Twitter, this level of control will improve how they measure campaign results, introduce promotions, and test against different audiences while uncovering what Tweets work best.
