At United Water Restoration Group (UWRG), a dedicated and experienced leadership team drives success across the organization. This team’s collaborative approach, combining diverse backgrounds and a shared commitment to franchisee support, sets the foundation for UWRG’s growth.

From digital marketing to field operations, each team member brings unique expertise, ensuring franchisees are equipped with the tools and support needed to thrive. 1851 Franchise spoke with four key leaders — Turner KuellMeghan DanielJaci Erale-Baughn and Shawn Jackson — to learn more about their contributions and how they support franchisees.

Turner Kuell — Director of Digital Marketing

With nearly a decade of experience in digital marketing, Kuell plays a pivotal role at UWRG. Starting his career at Florida International University (FIU) with a degree in PR and advertising, Kuell honed his skills in content writing and SEO through various roles, including a significant stint managing Clorox umbrella brands’ social media presence such as Brita, Burt’s Bees, and others. His journey through different industries, including senior living and home care, led him to UWRG, where he now oversees digital marketing for nearly 50 franchise locations.

Kuell’s role is comprehensive, from setting up call tracking and analytics for new franchisees to guiding them on best practices for lead generation.

“I help franchisees get set up from day one, coaching them on which lead sources are best to use and assisting with ongoing promotion and social media management,” Kuell said. “We’re very close — tightly knit between our team but also with the franchisees. All of our franchisees have my personal cell phone number and can call me anytime they need help.”

His goal is to ensure that franchisees maximize their online presence and achieve sustained growth.

Meghan Daniel — Franchise Systems & Office Management Coach

Daniel’s diverse background, which spans graphic design, healthcare and IT, has equipped her with a unique skill set that she leverages as UWRG’s franchise systems & office management coach. With eight years at UWRG, Daniel has been instrumental in developing and implementing effective administrative processes that franchisees rely on.

Initially starting as an account representative, Daniel quickly advanced to assisting franchisees with invoicing, collections and overall office management. Her experience in health care collections helped her transition smoothly into her current role.

“I’ve come from an art background and health care, but I have all of the qualities and traits that I’ve learned from those different avenues which have equipped me for success in my role here,” said Daniel. “As a team, we have common goals that we are all passionate about. We are always making sure that we give our franchisees the best support and present the best product.”

Today, Daniel is the go-to person for anything related to administration, ensuring that franchisees operate efficiently and effectively.

Jaci Erale-Baughn — Director of Field Marketing

With over 25 years of marketing expertise, Erale-Baughn serves as the director of field marketing at UWRG, bringing a wealth of experience from industry leaders like Xerox, ServiceMaster, and McDonald's. Her comprehensive background spans various industries and franchise models, equipping her with a robust understanding of franchising, working with owner/operators and developing field marketing.

Erale-Baughn's role centers on empowering UWRG's franchisees to build strong B2B relationships that fuel revenue growth. Her approach combines team cultivation, hands-on training, and innovative marketing processes to drive success.

"I focus on fostering a collaborative team culture, providing comprehensive training and onboarding, and introducing new strategies that enhance franchise field sales," says Erale-Baughn.

Erale-Baughn's commitment to franchisee success is not just a statement but a practice. She is actively involved in the field, delivering personalized support. This hands-on approach ensures each franchisee is fully prepared to meet and exceed their business objectives.

Shawn Jackson — Franchise Business Coach

Jackson’s journey from military service to franchise business coaching has been marked by extensive experience in the trades and corporate management. His career began in plumbing, where he quickly advanced into leadership roles, eventually managing his own branch and later, his own business. Jackson’s experience in both the operational and business sides of franchising gives him a unique perspective as UWRG’s franchise business coach.

In his current role, Jackson supports franchisees by addressing the day-to-day challenges of running a business, from technical issues to hiring and recruiting.

“I help identify opportunities for marketing, and when administrative challenges arise, I connect franchisees with the right resources,” Jackson said.

He takes pride in helping franchisees navigate the complexities of business ownership, assuring them that every problem is “figure-out-able.”

Driving Success and Growth for UWRG Franchisees

Together, Kuell, Daniel, Erale-Baughn and Jackson form a dynamic team, dedicated to empowering franchisees and fostering success across the organization.

Communication is a cornerstone of their teamwork, as is their dedication to reaching their shared targets. Despite their varied experiences, the team members share a common goal and a collective passion for continuous improvement. This combination of open communication, trust and common goals allows the UWRG leadership team to provide exceptional, tailored support to franchisees, helping them to thrive in their businesses. Their combined expertise and dedication to franchisee support has truly made UWRG a leader in the restoration industry.
