According to a recent article in VentureBeat, the brand will be bringing this initiative to Europe, Africa and the Middle East. The purpose of the program is to entice startup brands to get involved in advertising on the platform.
Brands that do take advantage of the program will experience a variety of perks ranging from branded filters to technical support services. Snap is offering three different tiers for the program: Scale, Sprint and Kickstart. Benefits will vary based on the tier a brand enters.
Snapchat is trying to boost advertising on its platform. Recently, the social media network has been experiencing a loss in profits and its hope is that the Snap Accelerate program will help alleviate this issue. The program is already live in the United States.
