Voodoo Brewing Co., the high-energy brewpub franchise with 18 locations and counting, has inked a deal to open its very first Massachusetts-based location later this year.
FSR Magazine reports the brand, which has become the fastest-growing brewpub franchise in the world, will be establishing a presence in Boston as the latest step in its expansion strategy. The new location is being opened by franchisee Aarthi Umapathy, an IT industry professional from India who fell in love with beer after moving to the United States.
“Voodoo Brewing Co. has consistently seen a strong response from guests across the country, both in its brewpubs and through retail sales,” Umapathy told FSR. “Knowing this, I am incredibly excited to be bringing the concept to my own hometown.”
The Boston location will feature a customized icon, menu items tailored to local preferences, community events, and the brand’s fan-favorite craft beer, cocktails and hard seltzers. In addition to Massachusetts, Voodoo Brewing Co. is actively offering new franchise opportunities throughout the country.
