CertaPro Painters®, the largest painting franchise in North America, recently moved into a new, 31,000 square-foot headquarters in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The new facility was built with a focus on creating a world-class training environment for painters, franchisees and their associate roles in sales and production. With plans to occupy 20 new territories by the end of 2019, and 30 more in 2020, “Certa City” will certainly be busy training new franchisees and their teams.

Certa City is one of the many ways that the CertaPro Painters® brand is lifting up the overall painting segment and positioning its franchisees for continued growth. The brand has come a long way since it began in 1991, growing into the largest residential and commercial painting franchise in North America and approaching $540 million in sales with more than 350 franchisees.

Located at 2621 Van Buren Avenue in Audubon, Pennsylvania, Certa City features a 7,000-square-foot learning and demonstration area geared toward providing franchisees, their associates, and painters with training support as they continue to grow in their businesses and individual roles. The facility features realistic structures that represent a variety of exterior and interior substrates for residential and business painting projects. Individuals attending the training will be able to better identify substrates; what equipment to use to achieve maximum productivity; how to access spaces; and how to repair items.

The state-of-the-art corporate headquarters, including the training facility, was built last summer by local architects and contractors including RHJ & Associates, Shields Construction, Triumph Building Group and CertaPro Painters® of Lower and Central Bucks.
