In a recent webinar hosted by 1851 Franchise, multi-unit A&W Restaurants owner in the towns of Withee and Spencer, Wisconsin, Dee Wells discusses her nostalgic pathway to ownership and the plans she has to grow with the brand.
"We started searching around and looked into the A&W franchise because growing up as a kid, I worked at A&W" said Wells. “I had read online that they were coming back to small towns so we filled out the questionnaire and probably 8-10 hours later I received an email back and they said that they would love to meet me."
She looks forward to opening her third location to better serve her local communities in Wisconsin. John Palumbo discusses the importance of zees like Dee and how her work ethic and desire to help her community make her a perfect fit for the brand.
"We're extremely fortunate to have Dee with us, I think her story really encapsulates where we are as a brand" said Palumbo.
